How to get an appointment to see a pediatrician?

All pediatric appointments in BC are referral based. This means you need to have a referral from another doctor or nurse practitioner or midwife. Contact your primary care provider and they will send a referral to Squamish Pediatrics. We don't do primary care i.e well baby check-ups, routine health visits.

It is important to stay connected with your primary care provider - if your child's condition changes ahead of the first appointment, or between appointments it is always best to contact your primary care provider so they can help you & update us in case we need to change the timeline of a referral or follow up plan.
